Free group art therapy for anyone impacted by police brutality at DLF
WHAT:
The session invites individuals impacted by police brutality at the Wednesday morning DLF action.
This closed session will invite individuals to explore emotions from that day through expressive art-making. We will then form small groups to share, listen, witness and be seen.
Following discussions, we will then ‘alchemise’ our individual art-works to reflect our strength individually and collectively.
This is a safe and trauma informed space. There will be 2-3 people facilitating and holding space in the session. The session will go for about 2 hours total.
Tea & Snacks will be provided.
WHEN:
Saturday 21st 4.30pm-6.30pm
Monday 23rd 6pm-8pm
WHERE:
Unassigned Gallery, 55 Edward Street Brunswick, 3056
